Sometimes I get a chance to be a second photographer, and in this case, I had the chance to work with a good friend of mine, Evelyn Alas, and help her document the love story of Kerrianne and Chris. After some bridal portraits at the hotel, we headed over to the National Portrait Gallery for their First Look and some couple’s portraits, as well as a few with the Bridal party. We lucked out with a small, non interfering crowd at the portrait gallery – it was almost like being alone sometimes – and some super fun candid shots of Kerri’s sisters too 🙂
It was a rainy day, so we dodged rain drops and headed over to the City Club of Washington to the ceremony and reception. It was a fall wedding, and there were pumpkins and fall foliage galore. It was splendid!
Kerri descended a glorious glass staircase to meet Chris and get married and their guests were watching from the balcony above and seated in the club below – they were surrounded by love and support during their nuptials. Chris and Kerri then danced the night away amongst family and friends in the City Club and it was a joy to watch the laughter and tears throughout the speeches, dances and feast that proceeded.
Thank you Kerrianne, Chris and Evelyn for allowing me to share in this very special day with you. Congratulations!
